After not being completely happy with the Trites, it’s quite the opposite now. See for yourself how the pinky demons turned out:

The body color did take 5 paint layers until I was happy with it, but it was wel worth it I think. Dark red, then purple drybrushing (for the pink sheen), then a brown wash, then flesh tone drybrushing, then a red wash, and finally dark red highlights and black wash in some places…

By the way, just like with the Cacodemons, Doom 3 chose to go with a grey color scheme for these. Odd, considering they’re called “pinky”. Ah well, mine are pretty in pink again.

Enough painting for today, although I find it hard to stop. I do have an examn to learn for, after all.
