No, that won't work - bases can't ever enter or exist in a flying only sector :(

You can start your base on the flying only sector so you control it from the beginning.

I guess that third one is the only way to go with 4 build orders then, and since it lacks resources it wouldn't be possible to build Battlecruisers or Siege Tanks in the first round anyway :P

Thanks for pointing that out!

How could you use 4 yellow orders? Tehere are only 3 planets with the Yellow spot and two of them are flying.
Note that you need control of the yellow area to use its benefits. The third planet btw is without any resources so i dont think this is a very good as it maybe seems.

Very good points, thanks to both of you :) I'll add links to those two comments in the post :D

Only about the mobile bases - since I had a whole section on base save maneuvers back in the orders post, I pretty much left them out on purpose :P - although I'll now include a pointer in the introduction.

One attack vector for nuke that you forgot to mention is flare. Nothing like attacking with a ghost and some other stuff. As long as you have enough units and they don't have assist units you can set up the skirmish so they don't have support and just flare to ensure your ghost survives.

Going nuke is very strong with any leadership card that starts with ghosts if you can start on a gold order planet, use two special research to put cloak/flare/lockdown and the nuke card into your had first turn.

You also forgot to mention the terrans mobile bases.

And you should mention that science vessels always have detector making the scanner sweep not so good if you have vessels.

Mengsks star order is also incredible if you start on a gold order planet, you can get 4x gold builds and get battlecruisers or siege tanks on the first turn.

Covert Operations card is also usefull when you are going to rush early any enemy. Tegether with 3 marines and 2 firebats, it offers 8 starting units - more than any other player has. They don't block your areas to build more units, so you may have in 1st round nearly the entire Terran infantry to your disposal. Ofc, ghosts are not tough in combat, but they can capture empty areas or be suporting units during the invasion. If you need units elsewhere, or you didn't build a transport - use one ghost to expand on adjacent planet to build a base.

As you see, it is much more versatile Leadership card.

I'd like to mention that Spider Mines tech is also uesfull for infantry - 5/6 minor values makes it interesting alternative for Stim Pack at start. What's more, it is really cheap - you need to pay only 1 gas.

While I haven't played Terran much, I did notice that when combating the Protoss if you're not worried about protoss reinforcement cards (and if the protoss aren't using Archons), you can get the Irradiate (for 1 gas)which gives a +1 to attack just like the EMP (which costs 2 gas) but with Irradiate, you also get the posibility of Splash Damage if your target unit qualifies.
